Commissioner Pratt hails from Sinoe County in South-Eastern Liberia. She is charged with developing comprehensive land use and management reform agenda, including a National Land Use Planning and Management Framework, which will be the first inclusive land planning strategy developed in Liberia.

Madam Pratt is an executive management professional and an urban planning expert with a specialization in urban infrastructure development, who has over 20 years’ experience in public and private sector institutions, both in the US and Liberia. She earned her Bachelor of Environmental Design in Architecture from North Carolina State University in Raleigh, North Carolina, and a Master of City and Regional Planning from Georgia Institute of Technology in Atlanta, Georgia, in the United States. Commissioner Pratt is a certified and licensed urban planner and a member of the American Institute of Certified Planners (AICP).

In her professional capacity as an urban development expert, Honorable Pratt has participated in knowledge exchanges, expert group meetings, and served as a panelist worldwide. Commissioner Pratt authored the Liberia National Habitat Report, which was ratified by the United Nations, outlining the Country’s framework for a New Urban Agenda. Madam Pratt previously served as Deputy Minister for Industry with the Ministry of Commerce and Senior Urban Planning Advisor to the Mayor of Monrovia.
