The Board of Commissioners, Executive Director, Directors and staff of the Liberian Land Authority (LLA) are pleased to welcome you to the website of the LLA hosted at www.lla.gov.lr.

The LLA website is created out of the website of the former Land Commission but redesigned with improvement on content and more user-friendly in line with changing technological trends and advancements. Besides, we expect this website to be more interactive than ever, giving researchers, partners, and the general public, an opportunity to access the information and share their views on the activities and programs of the LLA in particular, and issues affecting the wider land sector of Liberia. Indeed, the global community needs to be informed about the developments that have taken place since the establishment of LLA in 2016, such as the transitioning of functions, staff, and assets from agencies whose land functions are transferred to the Authority; the continued challenges in standing up the Authority; current programs and activities of the LLA, including the implementation of Land Rights Act enacted by the Legislature, approved by the President, and published October 20, 2018; and out engagement with donors and partners for support to the on-going land reform in Liberia.

As the LLA continues to expand nationwide, we are under obligation to provide up-to-date information to our various stakeholders on a regular basis. We will endeavor to promptly respond to inquiries and queries sent to us by those who visit our website.

With this website, we envisage greater participation of the users. Indeed, this website couldn't have come at a better time. As land reforms in the country continue to take shape, it is our desire to provide information to users, partners, and the general public so that they can make informed choices and decisions during this important period in our country's history.

To help us improve on the content of our website, we welcome your suggestions on what kinds of news and information you like to be featured the most. Please feel free to post your comments on our Facebook page and do not hesitate to follow us on the other social media platforms.

Many Thanks for your continued support.
