November 18, 2022, Gbarnga:  The Liberia Land Authority (LLA) through the Land Use and Management Department with support from the Capacity Building for Inclusive Land Administration and Management Project (ILAMP), has ended a one-day stakeholder meeting at the headquarter of the Authority.

November 14, 2022, Gbarnga:  The Liberia Land Authority (LLA) with support from Lantmätarient, the Swedish Mapping, Cadastral and Land Registration Authority, through the Capacity Building for Inclusive Land Administration and Management Project (ILAMP), has commenced a two-day orientation training workshop on LLA-approved Operational and Administrative Manuals sponsored by the World Bank through the Liberia Land Administration Project (LLAP) for staff of LLA County Offices in Gbarnga City, Bong County.

November 10, 2022, Monrovia:  As 2023 draws closer, the Liberia Land Authority (LLA) with support from Lantmätariet, the Swedish Mapping, Cadastral and Land Registration Authority through the Capacity Building for Inclusive Land Administration and Management Project (ILAMP), has ended a two-day technical workshop under the theme, "Planning, Managing and Executing".

November 8, 2022, Monrovia:  As the World Bank-supported Liberia Land Administration Project (LLAP) finally draws down, a World Bank team headed by Mr Linus Pott, Senior Land Administration Specialist, World Bank Group, ended a five-day mission visit to the Liberia Land Authority (LLA).

November 7, 2022, Monrovia:  As capacity building remains a top priority of the LLA, five staff from the Gender Unit and the Communication and Outreach Division of the Liberia Land Authority (LLA) has arrived from Sweden after completing an intensive Gender in Theory and Practice Course.

November 7, 2022, Monrovia:  The Liberia Land Authority/LLA with support from the World Bank through the Liberia Land Administration Project (LLAP), on October 26, 2022, held a one-day experience-sharing event on the updated LLA Field Manual on Systematic Formalization of Customary Land Rights.

September 16, 2022, Monrovia:  The Liberia Land Authority (LLA) with support from the World Bank (WB), under Component three (3) of the Liberia Land Administration Project (LLAP), has ended a 4-day intensive training for government surveyors on the utilization of the newly established geodetic network, post-processing procedures and transformation of parameters when carrying on routine surveys in Liberia.

September 8, 2022, Bomi County:  Information dissemination and awareness are key to the implementation of the Land Rights Act of 2018, the LLA Act of 2016, and the Act Against the Criminal Conveyance of Land, including other land-related laws, policies, regulations and guidelines. Liberia's land reform can only be successful if the people and the government work collectively to ensure the right thing is done within the sector.

August 26, 2022, Monrovia:  The LLA with technical support from Lantmätariet through the Inclusive Land Administration and Management Project (ILAMP) has commenced a two-day technical workshop on the revision and realignment of the LLA strategic plan to the Government Pro-Poor Agenda for Prosperity and Development (PAPD).

July 29, 2022, Monrovia:  Judges, Magistrates And Other Judiciary Actors To Attend Workshop On The Speedy Adjudication Of Land And Related Matters in Various Courts In Liberia

The Liberia Land Authority (LLA) in partnership with the judiciary will conduct a workshop for Circuit and Probate Court Judges, Magistrates, and other Judicial Actors from the 15 counties of Liberia on the speedy adjudication of land and related cases in various courts in Liberia.

July 7, 2022, Monrovia:  LLA BoC Re-Appoints Stanley N. Toe for Second Five Year Term as Executive Director

The Board of Commissioners (BoC) of the Liberia Land Authority, through a resolution adopted at an Emergency Meeting held on June 23, 2022, re-appointed Mr. Stanley N. Toe, the sitting Executive Director, for a second five (5) year term as Executive Director of the Liberia Land Authority effective June 26, 2022, to June 26, 2027.
