Liberia Surveyors Licensing and Registration Board (SLRB) Publishes 2026 List of Registered and Licensed Surveyors

Monrovia, Montserrado County, Liberia — February 20, 2026 The Surveyors Licensing and Registration Board SLRB)has officially published the 2026 list of registered and licensed surveyors across the country, reaffirming its commitment to transparency, professionalism, and regulatory compliance within the surveying sector.

According to the Board Chairman, Mencer T. Powoe, the list is reviewed annually before being released to the general public. He explained that the yearly review process ensures that only qualified and duly licensed professionals are recognized to practice surveying in Liberia.
Chairman Powoe emphasized that the publication process requires all licensed surveyors to update their registration status with the Board. This includes verification of credentials, renewal of licenses, and confirmation of good standing in accordance with the Board’s regulations.
He noted that this measure is intended to maintain professional standards and protect the public from unauthorized practitioners.
“The annual review and publication of the surveyors list is part of our statutory responsibility,” Powoe stated. “It ensures that the public, institutions, and private entities can confidently engage certified professionals whose credentials have been properly vetted.”
The Board encourages government agencies, private companies, and members of the public to consult the newly released 2026 list before engaging the services of any surveyor. Please request the full identity of any surveyor before allowing him/her to conduct a survey else, contact the Board on the numbers on the poster Powoe concluded.
The updated register serves as an official reference for identifying authorized practitioners nationwide.
